Slay Naturals was started to bridge the gap between the average person and natural skincare. The founder Breonna Massey began to her quest to discover a solution for the natural skincare industry in 2017 as a junior at the University of Maryland, College Park. She spent her weekends at flea markets and popup shops throughout Maryland, testing products and speaking with customers. It was during this discovery period that she understood that people were looking for easy to use skincare products with simple ingredients.
So what is Slay Naturals goal?
The answer to this is very simple: Provide simple skincare.
What is simple skincare?
Skincare can be overwhelming. From mask to serums and everything in between, many find it difficult to even decide where to start. This barrier discourages many from adopting a skincare routine completely. Slay Naturals simplifies this process by simplifying the skincare routine and using simple ingredients.
Simple Skincare Routine: The reality is the average person doesn't have 30 minutes to sit with an age defying mask or any other loaded skincare routine. The goal is to get your skincare routine done in five minutes or less. We do this with a three step skincare routine.
Cleanse: Using the Black Soap, cleanse your skin. Remember your skin is your largest organ. If you can't use it on your face you shouldn't use it anywhere else on your body. Black soap has been used for thousands of years as a natural soap. Black soap is designed to clear many of the common skin blemishes.
Exfoliate, Hydrate, Moisturize: What's better than smelling like mangos in the shower? The true hero in our skincare routine is the sugar scrub. The sugar scrub does three important things for your skin. The scrub exfoliates, hydrates and moisturizes your skin. Plus, they smell amazing!
Seal Moisture: The last and most important step in the skincare routine is to seal in moisture. The Body Butter is shea butter based and infused with other oils. This helps lock in moisture for about 24 hours.
